BOILER ROOM

I love mixing for the BOILER ROOM events, especially for their fantastic line up and beats…. This Cape Town Event was a real pleasure, playing for K-$, YOUNGSTACPT, AUXWOMDANTSO, DJ LYLE & DOPE SAINT JUDE. The great immersive screen set up with projections onto bending soft screens was developed by the great guys at THINKING, it bent images and changed viewing angles. I played lots on the night with horizontal lines which looked all wobbly once projected. The great scribbly style of the designs announcing the event allowed for playing with GIF animations, hand-drawn on the iPad and then added to the mix.
